An actor for over 30 years, David has performed on major stages such as L'Odéon, La Colline and Chaillot. As a director, he guides actors in the encounter between character and person, leading them to access their innermost selves in the service of the role.
A teacher at the Cours Florent for the past 10 years, he prepares young actors in their final year for the major competitive exams at the Ecoles Supérieures d'Art Dramatique.

A director, actor and author, David's repertoire ranges from the classics with Chekhov (Uncle Vanya, Platonov), Ibsen (Petit Eyolf), Shakespeare (Macbeth), Molière (George Dandin), Hugo (Marion de Lorme) to contemporary theater, notably with Jean-Luc Lagarce (Le Pays lointain, Derniers remords avant l'oubli), Laurent Mauvignier (Tout mon amour) or Alice Birch (Anatomie d'un suicide, 2025). He is also author, director and performer of L'Heure Bleue, produced during his residency at CENTQUATRE.
